Didnt you say that you had the Essure procedure done? Can you give me your opinion of it so far?
Im considering this. They were unable to tie my tubes and this is my only other option since I cant get H off his a$$ to go to the DR for his procedure.
Re: Jenni
Yes I had it done. In the end I didn't need it as I decided to get the Hysterectomy done (bleeding problems) but the Essure itself was great. Non invasive procedure, you are put under, the Essure is being put in and you go home right after. I had a little cramping for a day, very minor and then was fine.
You have to use other protection for 2 month to allow your body to buid up tissue around the Essure which is what will block your tubes completely. After 2 month you will get an x-ray done (they put a "ballon" into you and inject fluid, which burns a little" They take a pic of your tubes to see if the fluid is blocked or still goes through, that's how they confirm if you are good to have unprotected sex)
Once it's in, you don't feel anything. You would never know you had anything done, you will get your period like you did before but you can not get pregnant again. This is absolutely irreversible so only do it if you are 100% sure you are done having kids
No it wasn't the reason. I started it after having Luke. The doctor said that in many cases the Essure reduces the duration of the bleeding but it didn't help in my case.
