AW: Mom & Brother
My mom reached her 1 year anniversary of not smoking over the weekend! When I started to do 5k's she said she wanted to walk one with me. She has lung disease so she would never really be able to run one bc of her breathing. Well, Saturday morning she walked her first 5k! It was a small race and I walked behind her so she wouldn't be dead last lol But She wo so proud that she finished and never had to stop to rest!
And Today we found out my little brother made it to the state competition for the special Olympics! This is the second year in a row! It is for a running event but I can't remember the length. I remember when he was about 2 and the doctors told my mom that he would never walk and now look at him!
