Petowners.... do you leave your water bowls out overnight? what do you use to store your food?

Re: Pets/bugs
1. Yes, of course.
2. A big tupperware container.
Dumb question on my part probably, but why wouldn't we leave water out?
ETA: I'm dumb. Is it so bugs don't get in it? Our dogs eat so much god only knows what out in the backyard, that I'm not really concerned about them eating a bug or two in their water. We refill it once or twice a day and wash it every so often if that counts for anything. Maybe we're gross.
ETA: I do the same as LB. If she's gross then I'm gross too.
Ditto. We leave dry food in their bowls out all day/night. They all share a bowl and make their own schedule.
And you have food left over? Enough to even leave out? If food was always available our dogs would literally eat until they exploded. They're pigs.
Both our animals have their water bowls left out over night. My cat has her food bowl left out 24/7 as well because she's not a pig like the dog.
Our dog food is currently stored in a bag because that's the only way we have room to store it right now. I plan on getting a big tupperware container when we move.
Our dogs are weird. They graze all day long. They never eat very much at a time.
We leave the food and water out all day/night. We feed them before we go to bed and they graze all day. Their water is actually a little kitty fountain since they both like running water.
We store our food in this awesome tupperware container from the pet store that holds the big size food bag.
Water bowl is always left out for them full of water for whenever they need it.
We store the food in a trashcan with a lid and that is kept in a closet with all the other dog stuff next to the laundry room.
ETA: our lab eats her food right away. Our Chessie is a grazer and sometimes she eats only once a day. We also give our girls a spoonful or yogurt in the AM and Cabela (the chessie) also get 4 mini carrots at every meal. If she decides not to eat in the AM the food, carrots and yogurt sit in her bowl until she decides to eat it. Even with all that random food we have never had an issue with bugs in our house.
We dump water out after 9 pm... but only because Kayne will drink & drink & drink & pee & pee & pee. It's annoying. Our vet actually told us he was ruining his bladder by doing this. Awesome.
Our food comes in a resealable bag, so it just stays like that in the laundry room.
Our fatties inhale their food within 30 seconds. They're hogs.
