Will the green machine work for set in stains? These are OLD. I don't like cleaners much either. Because as you said, if you don't add something--I do vinegar--it does attract more dirt. This is old carpet, which we'll get rid of eventually--and GOLD, and had stains from when we moved in.

yep, The little green machine. I also like it because it's small and easy to get out and get something little. Shop around because you can get them with heat and extra attachments.
