Should I say something to MIL about this? (long)

Re: Should I say something to MIL about this? (long)

  • Send her to my house? Just joking.

That is a tough one. I think I would take the approach of making a list of safe projects. What about scrubbing? Do your floors need to be shampooed? Closets repainted? Grout scrubbed? Could you use soups or sauces to restock the freezer? And really don't get to stressed about the little stuff. While the taxes would be frustrating, the rest of it, Eh. No biggie. And I would definitely not feel you need to clean before she comes unless you think she would mishandled something.

For a long term solution, I would ask my mom and my therapist because they always have good advice, ha! So here's hoping you find somebody wise;)
