Miss Cheeky Girl is still enjoying her family vacation, so here's the open letter post to let you all vent, rant, and rave away! At least it's Wednesday, right?

Dear Wednesday,

I am calling for a do-over.

Already fed-up with the day and it's only 9:30am

 

Dear Shannon,

Thank you for eating all of two bites of your cereal this morning. Thank you for dawdling on your way to the bathroom to go potty grabbing a toy and forgetting what you were doing in the first place. Thank you for giving your brother more Cheerios than he can handle at once. Thank you for telling me that you drew on the wall. Thank you for helping me to clean up the wonderfully artistic smiley face (complete with ears, hair, eyebrows, etc.) that you drew on the playroom wall in white board markers. Thank you for fighting me when I asked you to come and let me do your hair. Thank you for reverting to the knee-jerk "no" response to every single thing I say.

Thank you for not comprehending sarcasm quite yet.

Pay attention to what Shannon does today. It is a prime example of what NOT to do!

Dear Mr. Clean Magic Eraser,

Thank goodness for you. But, you don't work all that well cleaning red marker from matte painted walls. You pulled up the paint right along with the marker. And, there is still some remnants of red on the wall, right along with a bright white spot where the primer is now peaking through.

I probably should not have turned you on today, but I desperately need 15 minutes to calm down and collect myself so that I can tackle the challenges that I'll face later today head-on! 

One child is quietly sitting on the couch and totally engrossed in Handy Manny. The other is finally quieting down after being put into the playpen unwillingly.

Let's make this office move an easy one this weekend..K?  I am sooo excited for this big move!  I need to start thinking about what kind of pet I'm going to get.. geesh I'll need someone to talk to...I'll have no one around me in the new office.  I'm thrilled that everything is working out!

Please stop being so clingy and needy. And please stop puking just b/c you don't like the taste of something. This gag reflex is getting old. And please, please don't turn out to be allergic to milk. Mommy really wants to work on weaning but we can't afford the milk-allergy formula so I'd have to keep nursing you full time and while I love you, mommy is starting to go insane.
