furniture!
Ok...so after spending all of this weekend looking....I have settled on a sofa..loveseat..and push back chair at La~Z~Boy that I like. I just am still at a loss about what fabric to have them covered in!! Right now I have very grey~ish sage green walls in my livingroom.....and I kinda like this sofa in "raisin"!!

I like this chair.....and I would also have the pillows for the couch covered in this fabric. What do you guys think.....is it too art~deco???

The pattern on the fabric of the chair is SOOO not one that I would just go into a store and pick up first! I was having a hard time deciding on a fabric....and I passed by a chair covered in that! I made the little sales guy take the chair over to the couch....and it just kinda worked! The internet pics are kinda hard to tell about the colors as well.
I like the couch, and I like the color of it as well - I think it will match nice. I'm not digging the pattern of the chair - just nms. If it were me, I'd get a solid color chair and jazz it up with some colored of patterned pillows.
One thing about the couch color though - do you have pets? I have a black cat and khaki sofa/chair, and I'm usually vaccuming black hair off of them a couple of times a week...
I like both.
This must have been the weekend for furniture shopping. We ordered a china cabinet and a tv stand. I am so excited about my china cabinet. It should be here the end of the week and I will post pics. DH is happy that I will finally unpack all the boxes of milkglass that are in our kitchen. He is excited about his tv stand.
I like the couch, but I agree with others about the chair, I'm not digging it.
Also, about the chair, when you get tired of that pattern, or those colors, it would cost a lot to cover, or you would just have to get rid of it. If you went with a solid colored chair you could dress it up with throw pillows, and if you ever decided to change the color theme of you living room or redecorate al you would have to do is get new pillows.
Much more simpler than getting a chair covered and much cheaper.
Love the couch and color though!
