October 2010 Weddings
Dear Community,
Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.
If you have questions about this, please email help@theknot.com.
Thank you.
Note: This only affects The Nest's community members and will not affect members on The Bump or The Knot.
We're excited to announce that later this year you will be able to borrow Kindle books from over 11,000 public libraries in the U.S.!
Amazon to Launch Library Lending for Kindle Books
Kindle Library Lending will provide the same unique features customers love about Kindle and Kindle books, including the ability to read on any Kindle or free Kindle app, wireless downloads in 60 seconds, and Whispersync technology that synchronizes your notes, highlights, and last page read. |
Re: eReader update!
Ditto. My bday is coming up and I said I wanted a Nook. DH has a kindle and wanted me to get one so we can share books, but I refused since I want to be able to use the elibrary. He sent me this article and said "Does this change your mind??!?!" lol

Just a tip - if you can go to B&N and/or somewhere that sells the Kindle to try them out. I wanted a Nook for the same reason but I found it really difficult to use (and I went to school for IT so I consider myself pretty savvy). I ended up going a completely seperate route and getting the sony eReader.
