Ooh, that's interesting. I was planning to buy an e-reader this year, but I was leaning towards the Nook because you could borrow books from the library on it.  I may have to re-evaluate.

Ditto.  My bday is coming up and I said I wanted a Nook.  DH has a kindle and wanted me to get one so we can share books, but I refused since I want to be able to use the elibrary.  He sent me this article and said "Does this change your mind??!?!" lol

Just a tip - if you can go to B&N and/or somewhere that sells the Kindle to try them out. I wanted a Nook for the same reason but I found it really difficult to use (and I went to school for IT so I consider myself pretty savvy). I ended up going a completely seperate route and getting the sony eReader.

Interesting Becca, thanks!  Another reason why I think I want a Kindle, since I've used DH's a few times and he can help explain (althuogh I do consider myself more tech savvy than he is)
