CP: Easter Baskets

Sort of.  Our "baskets" are usually a gift bag with a little prize.  Nothing huge.

My mom might buy me and dh a bag of candy.  The IL's usually give us baskets

ETA:  But now that we have a kid (judging how Christmas went) we will probably be forgotten this year :P

We haven't gotten baskets in a long time.  They still buy some candy, but they just put it out on the coffee table and let us take some home if we want.  They'll do baskets for the boys though

My parents stopped making us them once I was in college, my IL's made my H and his brother baskets until the first grandchild was born which was 8 years ago. Now just the grandkids get baskets on both sides.

My mom is crazy-yes we all get baskets every year--more or less large bags filled with things like gift cards to starbucks or itunes, candy, chap stick, she's insane. And I have a lot of siblings as well- she already did a basket for my new niece (the first grandchild) so maybe this year we won't be getting anything-either way I love her and her craziness

We don't eat a lot of candy, so my parents usually give us a money gift and some small candy items.

DH always gets a big peanut butter bunny from his parents (and I get cadbury creme eggs). Last year, I got a Coach purse from my IL's and DH got a Coach wallet.

We are spoiled.

My mom has always gotten us chocolate bunnies from this one chocolate shop back home. When I moved in with DH, she added a little one in there for him too. This year, the bunnies were too heavy to ship but she found an easter basket made from chocolate.

We still get baskets from my parents as well as both of my grandma's.  Although, my one grandma doesn't put it in a basket anymore, just a holiday gift bag.  The candy from easter usually lasts us a few months.

It is only my dad and it is more of an Easter Crate/Bin.  He will fill a plastic crate full of goodies for DH, my sister (she lives with us) and myself.

I voted yes, but it's my MIL. She gives us a gift bag filled with candy and usually something small in there for each of us.  She goes all out for the boys. I had to tell her this year that the Easter bunny looks pretty cheap next to her and I'd like it to stop :-P  My kids don't need all that stuff!

I'm totally jealous!!!  I want a basket.

Every year I buy DH something small for Easter, and every year he gets me nothing.  I might just come out and tell him this year I want a chocolate rabbit or this Easter bunny is done!
