For those of you who asked me to update once we watched this...

I took a nap from 6:30-8 last night, and so I was able to actually stay up for the whole movie!

I must say it was pretty good!  Would recommend renting if you're looking for something to watch.  (and for those who remember the last post, it was (not surprisingly) WAY better than How Do You Know - ha!)

    It amazes me that I have not seen it yet. I live about 10 minutes from where it was filmed and where it is set.   My sister's FI grew up in the Acre where Micky is from.  He actually knows him.  My sister's FI is a boxer too and trains with him.  He wanted to know if my sister intended to invite him to the wedding.  He also said not to invite his brother because he has already blown all his money that he got from the movie on drugs.  Crazy.

    Aww, that bums me out. Christian Bale was pimping Dickie out like crazy during the press tour. I was hoping he'd finally kicked his demons.

    I found out after I watched it that Conan O'Brien's sister plays one of Mickey's sisters. I guess she played Beaver, but I don't know which one that was.

    I guess he was doing ok for a bit and then went back to old habits.  Very hard to kick demons where they come from.  Drugs, gangs, and violence are very common.

    We rented in a few weeks ago but never got around to watching it, I will have to rerent soon.

     Sidebar: Black Swan just came out and I can't wait to rent it!!
