  • Wow, I honestly had no idea that Tupperware is so expensive.  Also, I didn't really know that you could still buy it.

My mom still has some that she got for her wedding 30 years ago.  I think that stuff will last until the end of time -- quality stuff.  But still, I wouldn't pay $100 for four bowls.

  • I have a lot of Tupperware and use a lot of it on a regular basis mainly for left over. Some of the items are worth it and some are not. The Rock and Serve line, IMO, is worth it. I have a ton of items from that line.

If it ever breaks they replace it no questions asked. I've done that to a couple of items that broke and they shipped out a replacement for me. Now I bought all this stuff before we were more aware of what goes into products and have replaced some with glass pieces, mainly the freezer line. I think I have to go back and see how "green" their products are.

$100 for 4 bowls. I would do it.

  • Unless that Tupperware is made out of farking gold, $25 a bowl made out of plastic seems ludicrous to me.
  • We wash and reuse the plastic containers we get from takeout at places like the Cheetah...so there's no way I'm spending $100 to supplement what we already have.

The black takeout containers from the Cheetah are my *favorite* for leftovers. I'm sad when they bring us the cardboard boxes for DS's leftover mac 'n' cheese instead. Embarrassed
