When you were reading the books, did you have anybody in mind if they ever became movies? I'm trying to think if I did and I can't think of anyone, but I definitely pictured Rachel uglier than Ginnifer Goodwin who is adorable.

I didn't really have anyone in mind for Rachel. There aren't exactly many homely looking movie actresses. She definitely should not be that pretty. I think Ginnifer is prettier than Kate Hudson. But I think that is life with movie adaptations.
The worst was In Her Shoes. I love that book, but Rosie is supposed to have a weight problem. They cast Tony Collette. What?
Oh my God you are right. In Her Shoes was the absolute worst casting. I was also really annoyed with Shopaholic. I love Isla Fisher but Becky Bloomwood was supposed to be British! I guess that's more of a beef with the movie itself than the casting.
And I agree that GG is prettier than KH.
I couldn't stand that they moved Shopaholic to New York. I hated that movie.
The only one I really liked was the Devil Wears Prada. Anne Hathaway is still too pretty, but otherwise it was a good adaptation.
