Thoughts and prayers for a friend
Hello girls.
We all know life can change in an instant. I learned this when my dad died suddenly and a friend died in a car accident. DH's friend's (a GM in our wedding) mom had a massive stroke yesterday morning. She is in ICU and on a vent. It was a clot and they tried to remove most of it but couldn't get it all. I just saw her on Saturday at the baby shower for her DIL. I hadn't seen her in awhile and we had fun talking about our new house and her new grandson (her first grandchild) and now this. Please keep her and the whole family in your thoughts and prayers. This one has hit me hard b.c. I saw her on Sat and this happened on Tuesday. She is so sweet and I remember when I met her at her son's wedding when DH and I had only been dating about 6 weeks, she was like DH is such a good guy, and went on and on. I know she was so happy for us. Thoughts, prayers, vibes, whatever you can do please. Thanks. Enjoy every moment!!!

It's definitely not an easy thing- but ischemic (clot kind) strokes outcomes/potential for recovery are better than hemorrhagic ones.
