How do you store your unused seeds?

Mine are all in a big plastic bag. Any cute ideas for storing them?

Re: How do you store your unused seeds?

  • I stick unused packets on a clipboard with my random garden plans and notes attached. I harvested my lettuce seeds last fall and stuck those in a plastic baggie. Then I got worried because I wasn't sure if seeds needed to breathe so I poked some breathing holes in the baggie.

Um, yeah. None of the above is recommended or researched, mind.

Sometimes I wonder if scientists have never seen a sci-fi movie before. "Oh yes, let's create a super species of deer. NOTHING COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG." I wonder if State Farm offers a Zombie Deer Attack policy. -CaliopeSpidrman
  • I put in a baggie and freeze over the winter.
  • Mine are in a plastic baggie in the fridge.  My reasoning for this is that my mom does it like that.  She's got a green thumb, but is by no means a gardening expert.
