Happy Friday!

My last day of working all day!  Yay! It should be a fun day though since I am coloring eggs with the kids, and we are doing an egg hunt!

Tomorrow my college roommate will be in town, and we are getting together.  I am hoping to order the crib, and finish up the nursery!

Sunday we have Easter plans with my parents in the morning, and H's parents in the afternoon.

What is everyone else doing?

Re: Happy Friday!

  • today dh has the day off, so I can get a bit of help. we need to clean the house and do some errands. I will do easter with both grandmas at the in laws house. I am a bit nerveouos to have ten people around baby. I hope it all goes well. Wish me luck. tomorrow is suppose to rain, so more house work.

I hope all of you have a great easter!

  • Getting together tonight with friends for one of their birthdays.

Tomorrow I need to get groceries then bake cookies for Sunday. My brother and his gf are coming over for dinner. I think we're just getting pizza or something.

Easter gtg is at my parents' house. I'll need to get salad ingredients together in the morning.

  • I'm surprising DH tomorrow with brunch with friends, a massage, and the Museum of Science (he's never had a chance to see the exhibits and really wants to). It's his bday on Monday and we're keeping things kind of low-key this year.

I don't think we have any plans on Sunday.
I'd rather be rock climbing or playing volleyball

  • I'm a single lady this weekend since DH will be gone thru next Friday.... tonight, meeting up with a friend for dinner and we're going to start my registry.

Saturday- body pump in the AM and then possibly meeting up with a friend and checking out Magic Beans for some baby stuff and then probably heading to my parents house for the night with the dog.

Sunday- no clue... hoping it's not raining so I can take the dog to the beach. Beyond that, ??? since we're Jewish and it's Easter...

Is everything closed on Sunday? I can never remember.

  • Happy easter!

Tonight we are going out- just the 2 of us. I don't know where, downtown somewhere.

Tomorrow- hoping it is sunny so I can go to the pool for a couple of hours. Tomorrow night my parents are treating us to dinner.

Sunday- Easter- I think we are just having a relaxed day here, my dad and I will cook. And I'll be taking lots of pix of DS in his multiple cute outfits and easter basket.

    Can't wait to see 'em!

  • Punky I am so jealous that going to the pool is an option for you tomorrow!  It's freezing up here.  35 outside this morning.

Tonight and tomorrow I am hoping to get a lot of errands done and do stuff around the house (it's a mess).  Sunday church in the morning then we'll go to my parents' house, then out for a late brunch in the afternoon.  Then probably sleeping off my food coma as usual.

  • Tomorrow I have a thing for the dog rescue for most of the day. Then we'll have dinner at my mother's house (she always has all of us over the night before a holiday). Sunday we'll spend most of the day at the IL's.

Punky, did you order a PBK Easter basket? I can't wait to see the pics! We still don't have an Easter outfit... I guess I'll have to get one today haha. Probably 2, the way this kid drools.

  • I have today off and I'm spending it doing yard work.  I'm not sure how people manage suburban sized yards because my postal stamp sized one in the city is still more than I can handle!

Tomorrow DH and I are painting the kitchen then rewarding ourselves with some Border Cafe, yummmm.

Sunday I'm going to my sister's in Cohasset for Easter dinner.

  • Sounds like a fun weekend!

We are not traveling this weekend, amazingly. We are spending most of it packing. Sunday morning is Easter stuff, and I think I'm going to make a nice Easter dinner (with carrot cake for dessert) in the afternoon.

Stores are usually closed (with the exception of CVS and the like - grocery stores may be open, too), but the movies are usually open.  Most restaurants, too, I think, though they may be crowded.

We're thinking about dinner and a movie tomorrow - I want to go see Jane Eyre, and my husband says he's fine with it, but we'll see if that's true. Otherwise, we'll probably see Win Win.  We're going to the theaters in Kendall Square, so we'll either hit up the Cambridge Brewing Company or Lord Hobo for dinner and beers.  Sunday, we'll probably do a whole lot of nothing.  I asked Alan if he wanted me to make us dinner or something, but he doesn't care.  We're not religious and we don't have kids, so it's not really a big deal for us. Though we do look forward to 1/2 price candy on Monday.  :)

  • We don't really have anything going on tonight. Hopefully it will just be a quiet night. Tomorrow I have a couple of errands to do and then we're going to start taking apart the kitchen cabinets to sand and paint and also do anything else we can in the kitchen. Sunday I'm going to brunch with my Moms family and then dinner with my IL's in the afternoon.

Catholics aren't the only ones that celebrate Easter right?  I am off to google.  Ha ha ha.  I just thought everyone who celebrated Christmas also celebrated Easter.

Christians do, but the Orthodox holiday isn't always the same day, because they're on a different calendar.
