Anyone have a fab Mac n cheese recipe?
I've been craving some and have a couple recipes I've used and liked but they aren't creamy enough. They're cheesy but not like a silky creamy kind that I'd like to accomplish. Do I need to use Philly cream cheese to make this happen?
Share any recpies you have! Bonus if it has some low fat ingredients and is still creamy and tasty!

You'll never get that kind of texture with low-fat ingredients. The best compromise I've found between creamy texture and using real ingredients is this one from Nestle: http://allrecipes.com//Recipe/traditional-macaroni-and-cheese/Detail.aspx
You get the creaminess from the evaporated milk but you use real cheese instead of crap Velvetta "cheese food".

Thanks everyone for the recipes and info. I haven't tried one with evaporated milk, I'll be giving a couple of these a try!
I've been dying to try this mac and cheese from one of our local movie theatre menus for green chili mac n cheese. Doesn't that sound delish?
