Short Hair Help

So, I have short hair. You could probably call it a "pixie cut." My lovely hair stylist decided to up and move to Hawaii a few months ago, so I'm in need of a new one. I love long hair, but just don't have the hair type for it, and I feel like short haircuts must be more difficult for stylists to pull off. I don't know if it's because not as many women rock the pixie, or if it's technically more difficult, but I've had so many bad haircuts and finding a new stylist is terrifying. Mostly, (even though I'm a SM) I don't want mom hair. Can anyone recommend a great stylist for short hair in the OKC area?

A girl from my hometown just started at Cottonwood in Edmond-she has about 3-4 years of experience. I have never been to her but I have seen some of her cuts and they look good. If you want her name PM me. I also heard that it takes ALOT to get a job at Cottonwood so I think that speaks highly of her.

My hair has been short for a long time and I have been going to the same stylist for the last 5 years (Other than my last cut when I decided to try someone else because I had put a cut off too long and was fed up and wanted it done *now*.  She had been sick and couldn't fit me in, so I went to a friend of a friend and wished I would've just waited.)

 I love her - she is super sweet and always comes up with really cute styles that compliment my personality.  She is pretty young and hip, so I don't think you'd have to worry about mom hair!

Thanks very much, ladies! Will have to wait until next month, as the IRS has robbed me blind this April, but this gives me good options.
