Ok only parts of the valley. (I just like that song.) Has anyone been evacuated? Atleast 4 friends have been evacuated from Sylmar. A few of my classmates are working at Olive View and they are evacuating the whole hospital. Now there is another fire in Porter Ranch. Craziness!!! I hope all of you are ok. Stay safe. I was suppose to go to my breastfeeding support group at Holy Cross, but I decided it's too close to the smoke for the baby.

I'm not anywhere near any of the fires (Woodland Hills), but the smoke has definitely made it's way into our building and the air system.  I'm rethinking my plans to leave the office, run errands, and take the dog on a walk. I hope everyone is safe and sound.

No evacuations yet in my part of Northridge.  Ai!  This is scary!

No evacuations that I know of but we do have family friends that live in Lakeview Terrace.  I cannot see the fires (only smoke) in Westlake and can totally smell it in the office.  Yuck!

Definitely scary!  I remember when this happened around the same time last year.  DH was already living out here and I was still residing in Vegas.  I came down for a weekend in October.  It took me 2 days to get home to Vegas.  I got all the way to Rancho Cucamonga on the 15, waited on the road for 4 hours and ended up turning around.  The following day I waited in the same spot for 6 hours.  I would've turned around again but really needed to get home.

I'm not near the fires, but I just wanted to say that your baby is sooooo adorable!!! He's cuuute!

There's so many babies are here, I can't keep track anymore!

OMGoodness..totally reminds me of last year....except I was 38 weeks pregnant with Katie trying to evacuate my mom...Yikes.

Yeah it is crazy. ?The smoke is really bad. ?What they are failing to mention on the news is that the 210 w is closed at the 2 fwy, so you can't go past the 2.

There have been evacuations from what I have seen. ?Luckily DH is home today otherwise he would be there. ?We'll see tomorrow if he gets sent to the fires.

It is so sad the people who have lost their homes.?

My mom works at a preschool in Chatsworth and they were evacuated earlier today. So scary!
