Confession
While out buying Easter goodies for As basket yesterday I thought it would be cute to get a card for D from A saying Happy Easter & give him a reese's egg or something. I knew D would never think to get me a card from A so i bought one for myself! LOL is that bad?? lol

Nope. Not bad at all. Mini and I put MH's basket together today. He gives up sweets for lent every year and I put him in a sugar coma every Easter.
ETA: Reading comprehension FAIL. I see that you bought your own card from A. Derrrrr, Margie. Nothing wrong with that either. Boys are dumb.

We bought DH a nerf gun keychain. He is obsessed with nerf guns, I also got him Snickers but he has "Snickers Sense" and found them all and ate them already (read 3 bags!!). I thought he wouldn't do anything. Honestly I didn't expect anything, we never have done anything before.
I was surprised tonight because I have had J's basket ready for weeks and tonight DH redid it, adding chocolate bunny because "what kid doesn't have a chocolate bunny on Easter?" Um one that can't eat chocolate! LOL. he also bought me candy though and set up my basket. A cute surprise!!
aww that's sweet of him K! I'm surprised D didn't eat his reese's eggs yet! LOL We've never done anything before either but now that we have A i feel like he could get me a little something from her. Not necessarily just for easter but bdays etc. So we'll see if this gets his attention! ... & i'm with ur DH i had to get A all the easter candy essentials whether she could eat them or not ... Peeps, a chocolate bunny, & jelly beans! lol
hahaa Char i don't think that would work with him. He doesn't like cards & feels they are a waste of money (CHEAP) lol whereas i think they're thoughtful & cute! so we shall see what he thinks of me buying my own card lol
