5 year anniversary party?
Hello long-missed nesties.
I have made my lurking rounds recently and am now looking for advice. DH and I had a very lovely wedding almost 4 years ago. We have no children (just a furbaby) and really no plans to have any soon.
Now here is my predicament, my wedding, while lovely, was NOT for me. The only things I chose for it were the date and the cake. I was forced into doing everything my inlaws and parents wanted.
Also in the last 4 years, my friend group has changed. So, here is my question, is it selfish to host another wedding type anniversary party to celebrate the date with my new friends? If not, is there protocol?
