best - awesome concert on friday night, gt t-day game on sat, awesome church service yesterday
worst - it was soooooo cold friday night...brrrrr!!!
Best: seeing family, yummy food, nice weather, bike ride w/gf Sat., free teavana, found my summer bag
Worst: was lazy on Sunday, didnt get to Target this weekend so had to buy breaklfast today and have to shop tonight, cat scratched up our new cat (poor baby).
Best: spending the weekend with family
Worst: having to spend time on a take home test. My least favorite.
best: we had a cookout with friends that turned out to be really fun, DH making me an awesome Easter basket
worst: i look like i'm showing off a baby bump in all the pics from said cookout; me forgetting to get DH a basket
Adventures of A Girl and Her Apron
Best - sleeping in til 10:30 on Saturday, having a great time at the Ren-Fest with a friend and DH on Sunday. Easter morning is the perfect time to go and we're going to make it our tradition. "Kids free" weekend wasn't even a factor. We were there at opening and left at 3ish, just because it was getting hot and we had all spent too much money.
Worst - dealing with drama with my mom being stubborn about not going to an upcoming family reunion. Ughhh
Best - getting confirmed in the Catholic church Saturday night. BF suprising me with a big bouquet of white roses. Cooking Easter dinner all by myself for the first time, and hosting BF's family at my house.
Worst - having to do a work task last night that kept me up until nearly midnight.
Best: My friends wedding Saturday and buying DH a new car.
Worst: I skinned my knee at the wedding. It was out doors and I slid on some pine straw.
best: dinner with friends saturday night was fun, and spending easter sunday at my grandmother's house, dyeing eggs and hanging out.
worst: the pistols my dad brought to shoot scared my sister's dog, and she ran off into the woods...we were REALLY worried she'd been picked up by someone or gotten lost...but she's fine now

Best - My mom making the drive to my house yesterday instead of me having to drive to her house. I'm not sure I could handle the hour ride right now. Plus she brought all the food for dinner!!
Worst - Getting a migraine saturday. I took a phenegran so that I could then take demerol excpet that no less than 2 minutes after taking the phenegran I puked up my entire dinner. . . .I won't be eating salad for a very.long.time.
Best: Generally the whole weekend was great. I went to work with DH on Friday for an hour, and then we played the rest of the day. Saturday we finished our front step project, and once we get a skim coat over all the concrete so it's the same color, it will be perfect! Sunday was family dinner at my sisters, and it was so much fun, we haven't laughed together so much in a long time.
Worst: um, only because I have to have one...it was a little hot on Saturday while we were working outside.
for the record, i am super jealous of you girls and your spring weather. it's been high 80's here for a solid week. HOT.

best - we went to the Farmer's market on Sat.& loaded up on more yogurt and some noms. Got my car cleaned. Had Easter dinner with the ILs and my Dad on Sun, and omg, bless my MIL. We had ham, potato salad, mac n cheese, green beans and little easter basket cakes. Adorable. Food coma was worth it!
Worst - 7AM wakeup call from Dad Sat A.M. Mom went to the ICU via ambulance on Sat ~2:30AM. She was blue, and could not get her breath and by the time we saw her ~10:30AM she looked bad, even by that time. ~6PM we went back and she looked SO much better. We brought her food from MILs for dinner last night. She's eating just fine.
She's still there today, moving to the reg. pulmonary unit this morning and possibly discharged tomorrow. She needs to have the cath. done too, but wants to keep her plan to go back in for it next week.
I think she should stay and get that done now/this week, but she's not ready for that, mentally.

Best: Great dinner party Saturday night at my parents house with quality time with my sweet grandmother. Mom and I surprised her by making a dessert that she used to make when my mom was little and probably hadn't had in over 30 years. It was awesome to see the look on her face when we brought it out.
Worst: My uncle passed away on Easter afternoon. He had been battling cancer, so we are happy he is no longer suffering, but it is still a very hard time right now for the whole family.
