How was everyones weekend/Easter?
Did you have a fun weekend, or was it boring, or was it a bit too hectic trying to see both sides of the family? What did you all get into? For those of you hosting Easter for the first time, how'd it turn out?

Re: How was everyones weekend/Easter?
If we were in NY we would have spent time with family for the holiday weekend, but since we are in MI and we're agnostic we ended up working most of the weekend. Yesterday I spent all day packing as we're hoping to move back to NY next weekend (still waiting for that to be finalized). Seriously, packing is the biggest time suck ever!
We did go to the mall on Friday night for some froyo and Godiva. We also browsed furniture and appliances to get inspiration for our new house. We actually walked right by the Apple store without going in. I was shocked but DH said he already has one of everything, so no need to go inside.

Our weekend was good, but too busy. Not enough lazy time - haha!
Friday night, we went to the James Taylor concert with my parents...it was a great show! It's amazing how his voice sounds exactly the same live as it does on his albums. He was really entertaining - talked a lot in between songs, etc. I'd recommend going if he's ever near you. Carter also LOVED him - haha! He was rolling around like crazy the entire concert. We know what not to play when we're trying to get him to sleep!
Saturday, I went to my best friend's daughter's first birthday party. She was adorable! Then I went to my SIL's house (where Chris was) for the "Easter Egg-stravaganza" they were hosting. There were a ton of people there, so it was kind of overwhelming. I got asked how I was feeling maybe twenty or thirty times. Ugh.
Yesterday, we slept in, then I took a nap (because ten hours of sleep wasn't enough), and we went to my parents' house for the afternoon. Got five loads of laundry done over there. It's typically pretty laid back when we go over there - went on a golf cart ride (our dog LOVES them), and watched a lot of basketball. Nothing too exciting (other than dinner, which my mom prepared, so of course it was delicious!).
All in all, I am not as well rested as I'd like to be today...especially for a Monday. I'm already looking forward to next weekend!

Aw, that stinks
It stormed really bad in the afternoon here but once it passed we still hunted them. Between Jason and I, we got a little over $14 worth of change and a couple singles. We're so lame, as soon as we got home, we took all the quarters out and put it in our laundry fund jar...totally made our Easter knowing we can do laundry without going to the bank to get quarters this week lol.
I saw his brother Livingston perform a few years ago (well, more than a few, since I was still in college!), and he sounded so much like him. He was really good, too.
We had a low-key weekend. Friday night, we went out for dinner in Harvard Square. Saturday, we went to the movies and saw Jane Eyre (which was good) then grabbed dinner at the brewery next door. And yesterday, we went to the grocery store and hung out with the windows open for the first time in a few weeks. It was all very exciting, heh.
We drove down to see my parents on Saturday and half way through the 2.5 hours drive, my dad tells me that my mom didn't plan anything for Easter this year. Nick was a little pissed that we were traveling down there when it was just going to be a trip to church and then driving back home. Luckily, I was able to call my cousin and my sister and ask them if they want to do a Sunday brunch and Easter egg hunt for the kids like we did last year.
We ended u being able to meet up with a couple of friends and go out to eat on Saturday night and then the brunch pulled together really well, with little to know fuss. Nick made kid-sized rainbow pancakes (Thanks Copp) and the kids (and adults) loved them (much bigger fans of the blue color than the yellow ones though). It turned into a really nice day, but I was a little disappointed in my mom.
My weeked was great. Got to spend time with all the family, had great food. We watched old VHS home movies of past Thanksgivings and Easters when we are all together. That was really nice because I had never seen the videos before and they included not only my mom-mom and great grandma, but also others that have passed (or are out of the fam by now lol) so it was really nice.
I hate being back to work after missing this much time because I find it hard to get back in my routine.
I'm also already counting down the days until we are back in West Virginia for my cousin's wedding, June 4th.
We had Chris' parents and his brother and family here for the weekend. Some of you will recall that I was stressed about having his wing-nut nephew here, but it went surprisingly well
Everyone left Sunday and we spent the day cleaning and watching the Big Bang Theory marathon
Yesterday we had a new hot water tank installed and ran a few errands.
Being back at work sucks

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermAnother one with grilled Easter meal: steaks, corn, bell peppers and onions. That was lunch.
For dinner we melted the 2 lb chocolate bunny I got last year with my engagement ring inside the box and made chocolate fondue (also put Godive chocolate Liq. in the fondue). Dipped strawberries and had a dessert wine.
In the morning, DH took the remaining robins eggs and sprinkled them aound the house for me to find and eat.
