EV Dr. recs

Anyone have any good recs for a Dr. in the Gilbert/Chandler/SE valley area?

I want a good general/family type Dr., but someone that is aware and informed on TTC process (would know if/when/what to look for to rec a specialist if needed) as well.

Are you opposed to having an OB as well as a general MD? I think that an OB would be more informed on the TTC process. My OB is at Higley/Southern and I really like her and the staff. The OB I've been working with lately (who performed my surgery) is amazing as well and is at Country Club and Baseline. I also have a regular family MD, but never use them.

  • I'm not opposed to it I guess...   but honestly, I don't really care for Dr.s, so the less I have to see, the happier I will be with the whole process.  LOL

I also tend to prefer male Dr.s, but I'm open to whatever needs to be done at this point really.  I really just want a Dr. that understands how anxious some people (me) can get going into their offices, and that will really listen to me, be understanding, and most of all, not rush through appts. like the building is on fire.

  • i used to see dr tamburro with east valley family physicians off dobson and chandler and i really liked him. i don't live on that side of town anymore, but i would still go if i did. he diagnosed me with anxiety/depression after my dad passed away and prescribed me a few different things until we figured out something that worked. we had discussed the plan when me and dh started to ttc so he definitely was open to talking about it

  • For a GP is go to Teresa Lanier's office which is Arizona Vista Family Medicine.  They are in the Mesa/Gilbert border.  For OB/GYN  I go to Valley Women for Women and LOVE them.  They are the best OB/GYN I have used to date and I highly recommend them.

  • Thanks ladies!

I think I'm going to look into Dr. Tamburro first...  but I'll keep the OBs in mind as well.  I'm just waiting on the insurance cards to get here.  =)
