tree sap on clothing

are there any recommendations for cleaning tree sap off of a swatshirt?

Re: tree sap on clothing

  • Dab with a cloth dipped in rubbing alcohol.
  • If it is a lot of sap, soak the area with rubbing alcohol.  Rinse very well by hand before laundering and drying.
  • I tried the rubbing alcohol method but it didn't work very well for me because I'd let it sit for hours before I could get to the alcohol. But if it's fresh it's supposed to work great.
