ordering car seat from amazon?
How do you feel about getting an infant carseat from amazon? We registered at BRU and Amazon but BRU doesn't carry the one we want (Chicco KeyFit 30 Romantic)... I am nervous about putting it on my amazon registry because if it comes with any defects or anything, it would be harder to return. Any thoughts on that?

Did you buy directly from Amazon or one of the marketplace sellers? We had to return something to Amazon once that was defective and they paid for the return shipping.
I wouldn't have any problem buying a car seat from Amazon. I believe they have a 1 year return policy on all the baby items, too.
Direct from Amazon. I just want to make sure I don't end up getting screwed-- I think it will be fine though. Thanks ladies!
I just bought a new stroller today and the guy told me to check BabyCatalog.com for the carseat. It was $75 cheaper than Amazon. I'd take a look there, too.
On Amazon, you have to specify some specific reason why you need to return in order to get the free return -- DH did it last week, but I can't remember which reason he had to choose.
