Tips for a Fun Goodbye Party?
I'm hoping to send off my
wonderful coworker to her new job with a sendoff she will never forget.
Any good tips or tricks that went over well that you wouldn't mind
passing along?
We have a typical management office of 11 people
and she has a designated office. We could go out for lunch too. Any
help would be so appreciated. Thanks!

Re: Tips for a Fun Goodbye Party?
One fun thing I've done if they have their own office is print off a bunch of pictures of babies crying with a banner that says "Please don't leave us!!"
Its super cute and costs nothing.
Have everyone in the office write down or email you something funny or meaningful that happened between the two of them.
Print it off and put it in a small photo album next to a picture of that person doing something funny in the office; either at their desk, at her desk, in the bathroom, stealing food out of the fridge...etc. My last job did that for me and it was the best.
I have it with other photo albums and look at it still.
The last 3 jobs I have left, they all pitched in and got me something.
I thought that was so nice of them. One was a Ikea gift card because I was moving, one was a visa gift card because I was getting married.
The last place gave me a day at a spa with a massage because they said they knew they stressed me out and I should decompress upon leaving ;-) I was the office manager.
Each of the places gave me the gift card at a lunch and the big boss said some really nice things and then presented the gift to me.
Another cute idea since there are only 11 of you is to get a dozen roses. Wait till she sits at the table for lunch then have each person give her a hug and a rose before they are seated. Have a nice vase at her place setting that she can place them in and its the centerpiece for the table.
HTH!
