Shoes for LO. Stride Rite?

So now that A is walking, I want to get her into good shoes.  People have said to take her to stride rite and I've seen you guys post on here about coupons or deals a couple of times.  Do you have any suggestions?  Have you found other brands to be just as good?  A has really narrow feet and I went on SR's website and did not see N in her size (4). TIA.

Re: Shoes for LO. Stride Rite?

  • I love stride rite, I only buy one pair at a time and J wears them for about 3 months before he moves up a size. I always thought J had narrow feet until I took him there and they pointed out that he had a high instep and needed wide shoes and they know which shoes that are average size are wider or narrower to get a good fit. You can also check and see if there is a stride rite outlet near you, you can get some pretty good deals there and they are just last seasons shoes.
  • I second stride rite. get on pair of shoes that she will wear all the time, they do an awesome job with new walkers getting the right size. and making sure it works for her...I know they seem expensive, but new walkers really need the proper supports for their feet to keep from developing poor walking habits and foot problems.
