I am going to (ahem, attempt to) make scones for my royal wedding party on Friday. Anyone have amazing failproof recipes?

I'm making classic cream scones for Friday.

I made these blueberry streusel scones once too.

I also considered these apricot yogurt scones, but have never made them.

For something totally different (and savory), these cheddar dill scones are delish. I actually used chives though.

These are amazing and always get rave reviews.  Sprinkle with sugar before baking for a bit of sweetness
