Door to Door Organics
I really want to start Door to Door Organics now that I will being living with my vegetarian cousin (everything will get eaten!). I am going to get a bitty box every other week.
Now the question is I live in an apartment that you have to have a key to get into the building. You don't need a key to get in the vestibule by the mailboxes. I can leave a cooler there. Should I get a combination lock for the cooler and give the code to the driver or should I just trust people?

I just got the groupon for there and had it delivered last Friday. I was really impressed, they even included some extras for us. I may start getting it every other week too.
For now I'd leave a cooler out for them. Make sure it's big though, the "bitty" box isn't very bitty. If someone steals it, call DTDO and see what they say.
I had an entire bush stolen from my front yard in Farmington Hills.

We leave a big cooler out, we left out a smaller one once and it works but there's some maneuvering the delivery guy has to do and you don't wan damaged produce.

I work for Door To Door Organics. Do you have a leasing office that we could deliver the box to? Otherwise, I wouldn't worry about it too much. We rarely run into issues with people taking boxes that aren't theirs. But, if something does happen to the box, we have a rockin' customer service team who will take care of ya.
