how do you store your digital pictures?

Currently mine are on a memory stick, but I now have quite a few of those.  I am wondering if an external hard drive is the way to go?  I have all pics on my computer, but I back them up on a memory stick.  Thanks!

  • I use an external hard drive and also have them online (shutterfly, photobucket, etc).

  • I have a Seagate Freeagent external HD that I store all of my pics and documents on. I think I have a 250gb and it's not even 1/4 full. I have digital pics on it since I first got a digital camera in 1999.

ditto. I also set up a share site on shutterfly, so family and friends can view as well.

  • External hd. I have a 1TB hd that cost around $100. I also back everything up on my smugmug account.
