I come on from time to time, but notice it's always dead. Is there another LA board that I'm missing?

It used to be really busy from about 2006 to 2009.  Then some drama happened and some of the girls decided to make their own group on fb.

That must've been some big drama to cause people to stay away 2 years later! LOL!!

I just got married in January and decided to check here too. It's funny -- a lot of people are still active on the LA board on TK.

Yep definitely really quit.  I only check this board now and again and usually there's not much new besides maybe a post or two.

I'm usually on the MM board.  There's actually a number of LAers on there.

It's hard having a board for LA because it's such a wide geographical area.  Like I only know about things on the Westside and downtown. 

I only come here to answer questions from tourists.  lol

This is basically what I do as well. We are the tourist go-to!

I know a lot more areas in LA now than a few years ago. Before it was basically only South Bay and Westside, but I've moved around. And I know all the bad neighborhoods really well, but no one ever asks about the Projects.....

I check this board every once in a while but it's pretty slow. It's been that way since I came over from the knot in 2009.

Not really.  I don't think that board has been active for almost a couple years.  It used to have almost 2 pages of new posts a day.

Wishin - Yes I was! I am from the Gamma Lambda chapter up at San Jose State. Are you involved in any alumni chapters down here?

No I'm not - I don't really carry too much affiliation anymore.  But it did give me a lot of great opportunities in school.  Now I am just heavily involved in my regular alma mater alumni club out here.
