The Voice
Did anyone watch it last night? If so, what did you think?
I feel like I didn't pay much attention to the actual singers but liked the competition between the judges. I am a bit disappointed that after the first round it seems like it just turns into another American Idol. I thought the whole point of the show was to judge these people based on their voices, not their looks, but that's only the first round. Oh well...maybe I'll watch for a couple more weeks and see how it turns out.

TTC Since January 2011 - We have bad spermI only watched it because I normally watch Biggest Loser and then Parenthood, but since BL was only an hour and Rulon annoyed me by walking off the show and PH is done for the season, I decided to give it a go. I actually enjoyed it!
I agree Xan - I was thrown off that the auditions are the only thing that is "blind" though. I guess I assumed that was the whole premise of the show. I think it's worth watching a few more weeks though. Although I don't know how much Christina I can tolerate! From the looks of Adam he can't stand her either and how can I blame him? :-P

I used to be a big Christina fan back in the day but haven't been able to stand much of her for several years now. I feel like she has the worst team thus far too, whereas Adam has the best...in my opinion.
I love the concept of the show (not seeing them as they sing), but the singers weren't that good! No one made me go WOAH!
And they say that the artists want to win the "cred" of discovering the next big artist. Well, they aren't discovering them...the producers found them. They just push a button. So that part annoyed me.
I'll still watch, it didn't bother me or anything. We'll just have to wait and see how it progresses
