Well I thought I would let you all know what my life with the boys has been like.
Good news - I am finally able to wean myself off of my PPD meds...I am in a much better place. ![]()
Yesterday I brought them to their 9 month check up. Lets just say my boys are on opposite ends of the growth charts. One barely on the charts and the other is in a good spot. Here is some low down:
Zach - his head circumfrance is in the 36%, heightt is in the 76%, and weight is 68% - he currently weighs 21lbs 13oz.
Christian - his head circumfrance is in the 1%, height is in the 35%, and weight is in the 6%. The doctor isn't concerned as he is hitting all his milestones, but he will keep an eye on him. Seriously, he has never been a big eater. Besides he is so active that he hardly ever sits still.
So here is the hard part. Zach has reverted to his newborn stages, and waking up all the time. So last night was the first night of CIO (per Pedi's recommendations since everything else has failed). After 40 minutes he went to sleep. (this broke my heart, but it did have to be done), woke up once - gave him a bottle back to sleep. Woke up the second time, gave him a little water, he threw the bottle and pitched a fit, so after 20 minutes to 1/2 hour back to sleep and he was still sleeping when I left for work. Please hope that he figures that he will be ok in his own crib and not our bed, and that he doesn't need food in the night.
And on a lighter note....they get their first haircuts tomorrow. ![]()
Re: BR - 9 month appt update
Yay for no more PPD meds, and yay for better places!
It's amazing how different multiples can be. Between Kaity and Hayley there is, at least, 2-3 inches difference in height and several pounds. Ryley falls somewhere in the middle.
We'll just not tell H about this little fact, m'kay?
Yay for a good appt!
I hope Zach gets his sleeping back on schedule. Hopefully it won't take him long to find a way to soothe himself.
Yes sort of. Honestly I am SO BAD with the whole baby books thing. I started them before I delivered, but after not so much. I still have everything, but they are not really organzied. The place we are bringing them, they get certificates for first haircuts, and they put some of the hair in baggies for them.
Yay for no more PPD meds and being in a better place!
I can't believe the boys are nine months already. Good luck with the sleep training and the haircuts.
Hooray for being off PPD meds!
Cheering for your boys to grow, sleep, and all that other great stuff to make momma proud!
