DH and I are going to have a date night this weekend as we haven't been on a date since we got the BFP. Now that I can eat food again I want to go somewhere really good! We have been to all the regular places (Charley's, Wine Exchange, Sinatra Bar, etc.) I would love to find something off the beaten path. Can you recommend somewhere we should go? We are open to all areas of the Bay Area!
Re: Date night recs
H and I went on a date night a few weeks ago that was a hit. Dinner downtown - we went to Pizza Fusion and then went to concert in the park at Curtis Hixon. Super chill, great weather, nice crowd. Here is the website for the concerts in the park. Some other restaurants that are good are L'Eden or Fly Bar.
Also, I've been wanting to eat at Ella's Folk Art Cafe.

Since we live near Dunedin, we love to head downtown and check out the Dunedin Brewery for drinks. We usually eat somewhere before, I love Casa Tina. They have movies in the park and random activities pretty frequently! I love the Sunday dog washes when you can bring your dog for a wash and get a free beer at the Brewery!
As for Tampa, we will hit up Ybor for some karaoke on a Friday night (Double Decker) or meet friends for happy hour somewhere!
Ohhh that sounds like fun!
This sounds great, thanks!!!
The dog wash sounds fun! I think I wouldn't be able to handle the brewery right now, it would be so torturous to see all of this beer that I can't drink
H and I go out to dinner a lot.. we try to have a date night like once a weekend. However, when we want to do a really special date night we will drive over to John's Pass on Madeira Beach and go to Scully's. Ironically it's a seafood restaurant and I don't really eat seafood, but I like their land food too
We sit outside and it's on the water and we always see tons of dolphins. Then we walk around the boardwalk and sometimes we stop in some of the little bars and listen to the live music or just hang out. It makes us feel like we are on vacation.
I'll have to add this to my list, it sounds great!
I LOVE Casa Tina!! We have had some work events there. Great food and drinks!
