Royal Wedding?
I know this has been discussed in the entertainment board a lot but since ours seems to be on the slow side lately, are any of you watching any of the coveraged on the wedding?
I don't really plan on doing so but I have to admit I am very curious to see a pic of her dress.

What is it like being in London for this? Also weren't you trying to get tickets for the Olympics? If so did you find out if you got them?

There are 5 women (ages 40-60-ish) from DH's company that planned their girls weekend vacation around the royal wedding. They are staying at a hotel, having a pajama party and watching it together.
Yeah I've notice some people are super excited about it. I'm just as excited as I would be for any other wedding. I just love to see wedding details and stuff like that.
It's starting to get a bit crazy here now. Tons of people are expected to be flocking into London on Friday, and the city is being decorated with Union Jack flags everywhere, which is kinda cool. I don't plan on being anywhere near the madness on Friday though. It's kind of funny that businesses are having promotions whereby you get free things or discounted things if you show up in wedding attire, or if your name is Wills and/or Kate. I'm curious to see how many people actually take advantage. I know a bunch of my coworkers all have street parties that day, so a lot of people are being quite social about it ... but I guess they will take any excuse to drink here :-)
The application system for Olympics tickets closed last night, so we should know by June if we got anything. We applied for a bunch, so fingers crossed that something comes through!

I'll probably just watch the highlights and wait for the pictures to come out online and in the magazines. I'm interested in seeing all the details and her dress for sure!

I might stay up to watch it. It starts at 1am here I believe and that is when I normally go to bed. We will see. I also may not being that I will be spending the next night getting situated in the hospital. I really don't know yet.
