DH and Hazel are both sleeping right now, so I am taking advantage of these few moments alone to nest. LOL Thanks for all of your support. I was terrified of having a c-section, but it was tolerable. Definitely worth the end result.
We came home from the hospital on Easter! The past few days have been a whirlwind but I think we are getting into a routine. Hazel is such a good, sweet baby. DH is an incredible father - he is seriously better at all of this stuff than I am.
Oh and yes, I am totally AWing my new sig picture - from our newborn shoot with Courtney this morning. That girl is great with a camera!
ETA: Today is also our first full day cloth diapering. So far, so good. Took a while to figure out how to make the prefolds fit in the tiny little covers. I'm loving our Fuzzibunz XS right now, too bad we only have a few.
Re: Hi everyone!
Hi Mama! I didn't know you wound up having a c-section. The last update I saw Jen post said you were at 9 cm.
That picture is to die for! Hazel is so beautiful. I love her middle name too! So good to hear that you are getting settled. Let me know if you need anything!
How is it that my BABY is going to be 3?
BFP-2/25/11; 8 Wk U/S-3/25/11-No HB, measured 6.5 wks; D&C
Most of the day I feel fine, just a lot slower than usual. Sometimes it hurts to even try to sit up or get out of bed. I'm ready for that part to be over with.
Thanks, Jodi! I was at 9 cm for 4 hours so we decided to do a c section. She wasn't descending and I wasn't progressing. Afterwards the doctor said because of her size and my pelvis she wouldn't have been able to fit through the birth canal.
That is exactly (like, word for word) why Jeffery ended up being a C section too.
She is precious, and I'm in love with her coloring! She looks like a little china doll! Such beautiful ivory skin with that dark hair! OMG!
I think my ovaries just shuddered. I guess it doesn't help that I'm ovulating. Good think DH is working a duty night, lol."My 101 List - Updating asap, I swear!
