Re: **Thankful Thursday**
With the exception of the rain today I've been loving this weather! I got a pedicure and have been able to wear sandals and skirts to work lately. I've been outside enjoying this weather. I've been able to garden and open my pond as well as take the cover off my pool. I've been sitting on the back porch, watching the yankees game while drinking a cold beer. I've been out and have logged 7 miles of exercise in 2 days.
I'm SO happy it's not winter anymore!

I'm so thankful for the amazing family i have and friends who i feel like are family.
I am thankful for my amazing husband and for all he is!
I am thankful for working in a school that truly appreciates everything we do as teachers. I am currently a contractor here and while I love my job, I'm looking to stop being a contractor. Without me saying anything, I may be offered a resource teacher position here at the school (brand new, I'd be creating the curriculum, etc) simply because other teachers have spoken so highly of me and the administration is noticing what is going on and how unhappy I am due to outside sources. I am thankful to even be considered, even if it ends up not working out in the budget.
I am thankful for my awesome husband who has put up with a lot from me. Stress and I aren't friends and this year, free time is zilch.
This is a bit materialistic but I am thankful we are financially capable of being season ticket holders for the Capitals. I honestly love going to games and it is a time where I'm forced to relax. Tonight, round 2 home game in DC, boneless chicken wings, fries and beer(s) are in order and I cannot wait.
