Thankful thursday
I'm thankful that i'm off of work tomorrow.
I am not, however, thankful that come Monday morning, i'm BACK ON pager b/c 2 of the 3 people I work with decided to take vacation and my boss approved BOTH of their vacations to be at the same time.
This coming week is going to kill me.

I'm thankful my family and my husband's family are all healthy and happy. It seems I have many friends experiencing death of a loved one lately. Makes you remember just how precious life is.
I'm thankful my husband is okay. He had a doctor tell him last week he had a significant heart murmur, and wanted to run all these tests. (The doc was very worked up about it.) DH is almost 29 and has never ever been told he has a murmur before. So we decided to get a second opinion from another doctor. This one didn't hear anything (thank god) but ran a few simple tests as well. Hopefully they are all normal.
I'm thankful my little brother made it through his probation. (Well, as of tomorrow anyway.) He is 22 now, but when he was younger he had some issues with drugs, and spent a lot of time in the last several years in and out of rehab. The weekend of his high school graduation he got arrested and spent the weekend in jail. He was charged with a felony, but luckily was given probation for 2 years, which if completed will drop the charge to a misdemeanor. He is not only clean now for over a year, he finished the probation tomorrow.
I am thankful that I have such a caring husband. I've been stressed lately and he always tries to make things easier for me.
I am thankful we can get to Mexico this weekend to see BIL get married! We were worried about finances and time off...but it worked out!

I am thankful that tax season is over and that my husband and I have finally been able to spend some quality time together.
I am also thankful that my little brother found a job and finally quit smoking - he used his last nicotine patch about two weeks ago, so I think we can officially say that he quit!
I am thankful that DH and I are able to do so much traveling to attend events for friends and family. It has been really nice to not miss out on their big events, even though they are all across the country. It was also nice to be able to visit my parents and friends during spring break.
I am thankful that there are only 3 more nights of my grad school classes this semester. Yippee!
And as always, I am thankful for my understanding husband.
I am thankful that my doctors appt. went well Tuesday.
I am thankful that DH is okay with another 4.5 weeks of being home alone and night and doing all the cooking so I can take a 4 week summer class in order to do my practicum for my degree this summer (and thus earn 3 more credits on my degree before baby is here!)
I am thankful that this semester is almost over. I would like to give it a one finger salute as I send it off into the past.
