Garlic

Does it go bad? How do you know? And how do you store it? Thanks!

Re: Garlic

  • I'm not sure if it goes bad??  Never had not used it to know, I guess.  I keep it in a ziploc in the fridge with my onions.
  • I store it in a basket on the countertop. It dries out if it gets old, but it takes a long time.

  • It grows and gets green stems and when it does that it is bad and you can't eat I think.  When I buy it it probably goes bad (aka grows) in a month or two but, mind you, who knows how long it's been shipped for....

I buy the freeze dried stuff now.
