Moving .... dont know where??
Hi I live in south Florida. I am a kinderga
en teacher and plan on moving with my husband this coming summer. We are looking at the Conway, Myrtle Beach & Socastee and Charleston areas. Can anyone give me advice please.... I love the way Charlston looks on Army wives lol, please tell me is the beautiful greenery and cute town just the show, or is that real charleston? Also liked Mytle beach when we visited last summer but dont want to live all around tourists... Suggestion and help please... Also you teachers suggestions of great schools .. I want to teach K still. Thanks!!
Re: Moving .... dont know where??
Personally, I would cry if I had to live in Myrtle Beach. I would take Charleston any day. There are a lot of tourists in the Charleston area, but living there outweighs that.
I agree with the previous poster...Charleston County schools are pretty trying. Mount Pleasant might be a better place to try and get a job. Its still Charleston County I think, but the area is much better. Summerville would probably be a good area to teach in too.
Charleston does have some great private schools if you are interested in that route.
