I asked this on FB the other day. If you had to pick, which one would you rather watch? The Royal Wedding or the Space Shuttle launch?
All but 3 people said they'd rather watch the shuttle. One of my sorority sisters, my SIL and my MOH's mom were all for the wedding. Me? I'm all about the space shuttle and will be watching NASA online for the coverage but I am DVRing the wedding.

LOL I have 2 different news channels recording the wedding.

Uh, yea, two news channels set here, too. One of which is the BBC so I can see the extended coverage and hear it all in those fabulous Brit accents! : )
I'm sure I'll catch glimpses of the launch on random news watching as well after it is over.
The one article I read said 3:47 EST

The Wedding. For Sure.
I got to see a space shuttle launch live when I lived in Florida, but I have never seen a real life girl becoming a fairy tale princess. I know, I am six years old.
The launch was postponed to Monday at the earliest due to malfunctioning heaters that are a crucial part of the rocket. I was so bummed because I left work early today - and was going to catch it when I got home.
What I don't get is how come they didn't check those before the day of the launch????
No leaving work early on Monday so I guess I'm stuck watching highlights. Streaming sites and social media sites are now blocked at work....but one of our IT guys worked for NASA for 18 years. I wonder if I could coerce them to let us watch the launch once we find out when it is.
