Our tech team has launched updates to The Nest today. As a result of these updates, members of the Nest Community will need to change their password in order to continue participating in the community. In addition, The Nest community member's avatars will be replaced with generic default avatars. If you wish to revert to your original avatar, you will need to re-upload it via The Nest.

Do you use a security system?
We have an alarm, but we never had it hooked up. There were 3 break ins in the neighborhood next to mine over the weekend, so I'm thinking of getting it set up. I can get ADT through work, but the system we have in Brinks, so it would be easier to use them.. Any thoughts?

My coworker's H works for ADT so I'll have her check with him. I think that usually they have to do a reinstall on some things, but not on everything. I'd call both companies and see what they say though. A lot of the alarm companies are getting hit hard because of the economy so most are running specials. You may be able to get a free install if they have to redo something.
