Royal Wedding Hats

I didn't read up on the tradition or anything, but seriously? It looks like she has antlers sticking out of her head.  I guess I am way out of the fashion loop.

Re: Royal Wedding Hats

  • lol - that hat reminded me of Gag's Lobster headpiece: image

In England most women wear a hat or fascinator of some sort to weddings. I kinda wish we did that here! We had a few British ladies at our wedding and I loved their hats!

  • Is that Fergie's daughter?

(The Duchess of York, not Fergie Ferg.)

  • Yeah, I watched some coverage and it was kind o a scandal that the PM's wife DIDN'T wear a hat.

And truthfully, I liked Beatrice's hat (the pink), at least better than some others.  I thought Posh Spice looked like a unicorn whose horn was clipped and replaced with a button.

  • I just find it funny that she couldn't keep her head up in the car b/c of the size of the hat. She had to keep leaning forward the whole time.

  • I thought her hat was ridiculous and distracting. The pink color she wore looked beautiful on her, but the hat just distracted from the whole look IMO.

Lol.  don't actually mind the hat, but I think it's oddly placed on her head. It seems like it would be a lot better further back on her head and maybe to one side. Then again, I'm not a hat expert. Shoot, I don't know why these celebs never call and ask my opinion! ;)

hahaha.  I agree that it is the position.  But she looked ridiculous.
