Mommaaaaaaaaa I killed a maaannn

No but really, I have a question for the mommas. And it may be a dumb one - but I feel after the day I had today I'm entitled to dumb questions and not have to think too hard/google things excessively.

When did your child start using (if at all) his/her jumper? And which one did you get? Do you like it? Why or why not?

My overly happy baby girl!

Re: Mommaaaaaaaaa I killed a maaannn

  • We had one that sat on the floor and started using it when Xander was 4-5 months old. I don't have a better picture of it with Xander in it but I hope you get the idea.

ETA: I loved it and so did Xander. He would play for about 30 minutes at time. This one does take up a good amount of floor space, but if you don't have a doorway that can hold the other kind, it is great.

Here is the picture of the whole jumper:

Umm yeah I couldn't help myself.

  • i think she started using it around 5-6 months? for awhile she couldn't reach the floor so even though it was put together, it just sat there taking up room (she she's quite long).  however, the exersaucer she used from like 4 months on.  she LOVES that thing.

i know some people find having both of them to be excessive but i love both of them for different reasons.  even though she loves to jump around, she prefers the exersaucer.

i have the baby einstein exersaucer and the fisher price laugh and learn jumperoo.

my mom has the fisher price adorable animals jumperoo at her house and z LOVES it.  she flies all over the place in that thing. it has less toys but the movement is pretty awesome.

  • 4 months and he LOVED it until he crawled. Now we have less of a need to put him in it because the house is babyproofed and he can generally keep himself occupied. We have the Fisher Price farm animals one.
  • Kiley started using the exersaucer around 3-4 months, and jumparoo 4 months, but didn't start actually jumping till 6 months, she couldn't touch even at lowest setting but still liked to be in it to play:

    She has two exersaucers:

    Einstein

Walkaround exersaucer, this one is neat because they can walk in it

     Love Zoo Jumparoo

  • he never used a jumperoo. he started in the exersaucer at about 4or5 mo. it was at my moms because as you've seen, we have no room.

  • Riley has the same one as Xander....we didn't use it until she was 8 months old because she couldn't touch the floor until then (she was long - 90th pecentile - but not heavy enough). She still goes in it occasionally, but was never a huge fan.
