Babysitting rates--Milwaukee area
What do you pay per hour if you have a high school kid sit? So far we've used family and a nanny-type person but we're hoping to pay less if we have a high school kid sit occasionally--for like an evening out. Thanks. I'm in Germantown, if it matters.

$9-10 an hour for my two girls, depending on how much is "sleep time". When it was just DD1 I paid about $8 an hour.
IMO, its worth it to pay your sitter well, especially if they drive to your house. Otherwise when it comes down to you and another family, they're going to choose the family that pays better. JMO.
