Cookies...help!
we are planning a surprise 30+1 birthday for our friend this year, since we couldn't all be together last year, and i'm bringing steak with my famous marinate but i want to bring a couple chix breasts too, but the marinate wouldn't work for those...what's your favorite marinate for chix that you throw on the grill?

make spiedies! chicken breast (or boneless skinless thighs) are great in the marinade. if you can find salamida's state fair spiedie sauce, it's like $2/jar (i know they had it at hannafords in MA). you can also make it: Spiedies
and if you have red wine vinegar, use that instead of white vinegar. also, spiedies are even better if marinated for two days.
I've used the Spiedies marinade before on chicken and pork. Very good!!
