DH and I finally came to the conclusion that we might have too many projects going on right now (complete overhaul of the guest bathroom, the first phase of our backyard, first phase of front yard, playoff travels, etc etc). Add to that the dog and......because we like to torture ourselves, we decided to get new carpet in SD and one of the guest bedrooms.
Now, these bedrooms are stuffed full of....stuff. Heavy stuff (like our treadmill weighs about a million pounds). To make matters worse, we are moving SD from one bedroom to another and my "single girl' furniture will be moved from the attic to the second bedroom for a proper guest bedroom. The base needs to be redone and the ceilings in these rooms have not yet been painted WHITE (they are pink and yellow - GORGEOUS!). I also want to add beadboard in SD's bedroom. We started clearing out the smallest room today and there is furniture and stuff EVERYWHERE. Being the neat freak I am, I am freaking out.
This is where PODS comes in. For a measly $120, our stuff will be neatly packed in a little storage unit on our driveway. Will our driveway look kind of ghetto? Yes. Will the inside of our house be neat and clean? Yes. DH is unhappy about the cost but I asked him if he is willing to put up with me pouting around about our messy house for the next two weeks? He was on the phone right away.
Super happy wife today. I totally want to marry the PODS inventor.
