I figured you could appreciate my boring house update haha. I don't know many people would be excited about a driveway and tree removal.
DH and a few other guys cleared the land and packed down the dirt for our driveway yesterday. They are moving some trees from the build site today. ANDDDD the guy is taking away the stumps for 50.00 a load which is amazing because you can't burn those.

Yay!!! congrats! My field is still a field
We got the appraisal back and it was a little low. I'm not heartbroken over it, it was only $6,000 low and we are getting a lot of upgrades that aren't figured in.
Upgrades:
Top grade Carpet and Carpet padding
3 3/4" Wood flooring (vs the 2" standard grade)
High Def Formica (don't have granite $$)
Add washer and dryer (not standard in appliance package)
Covered Front Porch
Rear Deck (14x10) with steps
Overheard lighting in all rooms
Recessed lighting in kitchen and rec room
Pendant Lighting in kitchen
Granite around fireplace
Marble vanity tops in bathrooms
I was dumbfounded that overhead lighting isn't standard. We should be meeting with the builders wife to do the selections on cabinets etc next week. I'm sorta thankful that things have been going slow, work has been terrible. Had my one helper quit beginning of April, and not much luck hiring. Finally have a great girl starting Monday! I'm looking forward to being able to tackle the mile high pile of crap on my desk, and the ever growing list of overdue accounts.
So glad they are taking the stumps away for you, thats a pain.
