Resturant Recomendation... I HAVE to share.

Last night we went out to dinner for DH's birthday. We met some friends who live in Hudson, WI. DH loves sushi and the friend recommended Shanghai Bistro in Hudson. I really didn't believe her but trusted her as she is a sushi lover, but said the other stuff is good too.

I cannot rave about this enough. DH said his sushi was some of the best next to stuff he has had in Cali. I ordered the orange chicken which was also delicious. The helpings were HUGE. My orange chicken easily could of feed 2 maybe 3 people. We also order a side of fried rice which was enough for about 6 people. There prices were not crazy for the amount of food you got either. DH said he will be making the trek the hour and half to Hudson just to eat here.

So if you are ever in the area try them you wont be disappointed. It also looks like they are building one in Woodbury and already have one in Eau Claire.

The one in Woodbury has been open for awhile now (In the same building as Dunn Bros Coffee and Dino's Gyros).  They used to be called something else (Giapponese or something like that) but they changed the name to Shanghai Bistro and changed the menu a bit too.  There is also a brand new Shanghai Bistro in downtown Stillwater!

Hmm...  That is really weird!  I went there 2 months ago and bought a gift card for my sister in law and they were open.  I'll have to take notice next time I drive by to see if they closed.  Maybe it's not a good location or they have too much sushi competition in the area and just couldn't make it work.  I know for a fact that the one in Stillwater is open though!

The Shanghai Bistro in Stillwater is in the building known as The Grand Garage.  I think it took over what used to be The Kitchen.  It's right by the Chef's Gallery.

I LOVE Shanghai Bistro!  I live in the area, and DH and I used to go there quite often. I totally agree on the Orange Chicken. YUM!
