My husband and I have decided to move and I am thinking of looking into jobs with the state. Does anyone on here work for the state and know if you need to be a AZ residence before they will hire you or even look at your application. Or does it not really matter as long as you claim residency when you get to AZ.
Also the area we want to move to is Chandler. We will probably rent at first and I was wondering what the best apartment complex would be and what are the best areas to live in. Any help at all is welcome.
Thanks!

Re: Moving Maybe, Help!
Chandler is a great place to live, you can't really go wrong with too many areas. I live south of the 202 and love it, but just starting out you might want to be more central. I would just avoid Arizona Ave. from the 202 north (and a mile or two east and west). Otherwise there's not too many bad areas.
I don't know about working for the state, but GL!
we lived in camden pecos ranch off the 202 and alma school which i loved. my cousin lived in the pillar apartments right across the street from there which were really nice too. another nice one i've heard a lot of good things about was the greens off of alma school and chandler blvd.we would have actually moved there but they were renovating when we needed to move in.
you also might want to look into renting a house, though. you can get some really nice houses for cheap!
